Dr. Kingsley focuses on both medical and cosmetic dermatology. During an initial consultation, Dr. Kingsley learns about each patient’s needs and creates a customized treatment plan.

An expert in laser procedures, she offers several options to treat acne scarring.

PRP Microneedling

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy effectively treats acne scars, surgical scars, fine lines, stretch marks and wrinkles. The procedure is designed to accelerate healing in a specific area of the skin. PRP microneedling produces superior results when compared to microneedling alone.

How It Works

PRP microneedling uses the infusion of concentrated platelet-rich plasma harvested from the patient’s blood. This plasma helps create cell reproduction and regenerate tissue in the treated area. Dr. Kingsley recommends two to six treatments, depending on the patient.

What to Expect After PRP Microneedling Treatment

Minimal downtime is required following a PRP microneedling treatment. Directly following the procedure, Dr. Kingsley recommends avoiding exposure to UV rays. Patients can expect mild swelling, redness and light peeling the first week after treatment.

Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is a noninvasive procedure that helps fade acne scars, fine lines, dark spots and wrinkles. Most often used on the face or neck, this treatment results in the production of collagen and new skin cells.

How It Works

Dr. Kingsley uses a laser to gently heat the skin, which creates rapid collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines, scars and wrinkles.

What to Expect After Laser Genesis Treatment

Laser Genesis recovery is minimal with patients experiencing mild redness. Patients can resume normal activities immediately following the treatment.

SylfirmX

SylfirmX is the world’s first FDA-approved microneedling radiofrequency device with both continuous wave and ultrapulse technology. This emerging dual wave RF device increases the production of collagen and elastin in a designated area. In addition to skin tightening, it also treats pigment, melasma, redness and blood vessels.

How It Works

Unlike other conventional RF microneedling devices, SylfirmX delivers heat in a controlled way the entire length of the needle, in a tear drop shape to maximize thermal effect, minimize epidermal damage, and make the treatment more comfortable for patients. It’s unique ultra-pulse mode also allows treatment of blood vessels and Melasma.

What to Expect After SylfirmX Treatment

Patients should expect to see significant results after the first treatment, but best results are seen with a series of three SylfirmX treatments. Redness, and little grid marks on the face are commonly seen following the procedure for a few days. The treatment requires little downtime, so patients can participate in usual daily activities.

Deka Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel”

Tetra Dot CO2 is the latest and most advanced CO2 laser treatment available. It helps to rejuvenate skin without the downtime associated with more traditional lasers. The treatment improves fine lines, deep wrinkles, aging spots and sun damage.

How It Works

The device removed damaged skin to reveal younger and healthier skin. Tetra C02 with “CoolPeel” delivers high energy in extremely short pulses targeting the superficial layer of skin tissue. This advanced technology helps prevent damage to the surrounding skin that other laser treatments might create.

  • Why does Dr. Kingsley prefer a fractionated CO2 laser over other fractionated devices like Fraxel, Moxi and Halo?
After years of using both types of devices on her patients, Dr. Kingsley has seen superior results from the CO2 devices when compared to the others. She can tailor her fractionated CO2 treatments to allow for better tightening, smoothing and sun damage removal. She also finds CO2 treatments are gentler on the skin when performed correctly, so patients see better results with less downtime and less potential side effects.

What to Expect After Deka Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel” Treatment

Patients can expect minimal downtime after a Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel” treatment. Their skin may feel dry and scaly and look a little red in color (resembling a sunburn) as it heals. Dr. Kingsley can also perform a more aggressive treatment which results in redness and swelling for about a week. It’s important to keep the skin hydrated throughout the healing process.

MK Glow with Sylfirm X + “CoolPeel”

The ultimate treatment to tighten skin, smooth texture, reduce scars, as well as remove sun spots and sun damaged cells.

How It Works

Dr. Kingsley has developed the perfect treatment combination to take 5-10 years off your skin. It is a series of three treatments (SylfirmX followed by CoolPeel in the same treatment session), one month apart.
