Dr. Kingsley is an expert in laser procedures to remove brown spots and sun damage. During an initial consultation, she learns about her patient’s needs and creates a customized treatment plan.
She performs laser therapy using the Deka Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel” and Lucent IPL. Learn more about the sun damage treatment options available, and schedule a consultation today.
Deka Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel”
Deka Tetra CO2 is the latest and most advanced C02 laser treatment. It helps to rejuvenate skin without the downtime associated with more traditional lasers. It is used to improve fine lines, deep wrinkles, aging spots, sun damage and more.
How It Works
The device removes damaged skin to reveal younger and healthier skin. The Tetra C02 with “CoolPeel” delivers high energy in extremely short pulses targeting the superficial layer of skin tissue. This advanced technology helps prevent damage to the surrounding skin that other laser treatments might create.
What to Expect After Deka Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel” Treatment
Patients can expect minimal downtime after their Tetra CO2 with “CoolPeel” treatment. After treatment, skin may feel dry and scaly and look a little red in color (resembling a sunburn) as it heals. Dr. Kingsley can also perform a more aggressive treatment which results in redness and swelling for about a week. It’s important to keep the skin hydrated throughout the healing process.
Lucent IPL
Lucent IPL is a noninvasive treatment option and a popular choice for treating skin pigment concerns. This treatment option uses intense pulsed light to treat browns and reds on the skin such as freckles, sunspots, uneven skin tone, and sun damage. It also stimulates collagen formation and brightens the skin.
How It Works
Lucent IPL technology addresses numerous aesthetic and dermatology concerns by delivering energy at different wavelengths. This device uses various technologies (pulse technology, cooling technology, fast shot speed) to create a safe and convenient patient experience.
What to Expect After Lucent IPL Treatment
Immediately following the treatment, patients can expect to be warm and flushed. During the following 24 hours, the redness fades and the brown spots get darker giving a “peppered” look. The dark spots usually resolve after a week.
MK Glow with Sylfirm X + “CoolPeel”
The ultimate treatment to tighten skin, smooth texture, reduce scars, as well as remove sun spots and sun damaged cells.
How It Works
Dr. Kingsley has developed the perfect treatment combination to take 5-10 years off your skin. It is a series of three treatments (SylfirmX followed by CoolPeel in the same treatment session), one month apart.
Moveo Photofacial
3 skin enhancing treatments in one session with little or no downtime. The Moveo Photofacial brightens and plumps skin while targeting unwanted redness and pigmentation.
How It Works
Direct contact and gradual delivery with a cooled sapphire tip make treatments more comfortable, safer for more skin types and increases the amount of energy absorbed where you want it most.
